Product Introduction
Properties
White/colorless orthorhombic crystalline powder, odorless and stable at ambient temperature. Sparingly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water & dilute acid, practically insoluble in ethanol, ether and acetone; aqueous solution weakly alkaline. Density: (2.12 g/cm³)(18℃). Decompose above 410℃ into lithium carbonate and carbon monoxide.
Grades: Battery Grade(≥99.9%), Industrial Grade(≥99.0%), Reagent Grade; battery grade with strict control on Na, K, Fe, heavy metals and moisture.
Applications
- Lithium battery: electrolyte additive & prelithiation additive for LFP cathode, stabilizes SEI film, compensates initial lithium loss to improve coulombic efficiency; raw material for solid electrolyte & novel lithium borate/phosphate salts;
- Fine chemical: intermediate for high-purity lithium carbonate & other lithium salts; reducing agent & complex catalyst in organic synthesis, standard titration reagent for permanganate analysis;
- Others: pharmaceutical intermediate, red flame colorant for pyrotechnics, water softener, electroplating auxiliary.
Packing & Storage
Packed in 25kg fiber drums with inner PE liner or bulk jumbo bags. Store hermetically in cool, dry & ventilated warehouse, keep away from high temperature and strong oxidants, avoid outdoor storage.
