Properties
Colorless transparent or pale yellow viscous liquid with slight salty taste, weakly alkaline (pH9.0~10.5). Extremely strong hygroscopicity, absorbs moisture and CO₂ from ambient air to generate lithium carbonate precipitate.
Density of 55% solution:1.57~1.60g/cm³@20℃, much lower vapor pressure than pure water, excellent water vapor absorbent. Liquid with lithium chromate inhibitor turns light yellow for anti-corrosion of copper & carbon steel; miscible with water in all ratios, non-volatile and thermally stable at working temperature.
Grades: Refrigeration Industrial Grade(50%/54%/55%), High Purity Reagent Grade, strictly controlled chloride, sulfate and heavy metal impurities.
Applications
- Central Air-conditioning Refrigeration (Main Use) Working medium for lithium bromide absorption chiller, widely applied in large commercial buildings, factories, waste heat recovery cooling system; anti-corrosion blended type can be directly filled into refrigeration unit.
- Industrial Dehumidification Dehydrating agent for industrial gas and warehouse air drying.
- Fine Chemical & Lithium Battery Dehydration agent & halogenation auxiliary in organic synthesis; electrolyte raw material for special lithium battery and pharmaceutical intermediate feedstock.
Packing & Storage
Packed in sealed PE plastic drum:30kg,40kg,300kg IBC tank.
Hermetically store in cool, dry & ventilated warehouse, avoid sunlight, rain, strong acid and open-air exposure; forbid long-term storage in iron container. Shelf life:12 months under standard storage condition, available for land & ocean transportation.
